As above i had my renewal which has dropped by a measley £45 which is pretty poor. I m 26, 4years NCB, 3 points & one accident not at fault. My renewal is £775 i m thinking more £550 anyway let me know who your with if the price is good & i ll do the rest.

Why are very few people saying what company they are with? That was afterall, the point of the post?

I am with Brentacre (VW/Audi Specialists) and they quoted me £300 less than everyone else with full mods declared and unlimited cosmetic mods, and I can tune up to 250Bhp before it incurs an extra premium.

I've just got my renewel from privilege at £685 on 210bhp S3, Im 23 with 4 years No Claims and 3 points for speeding. which funny enough was in an escort estate not the S3 Haha

The only draw back is the £600 excess and my own £250 voluntree excess.

Thats ridiclulas going to court because of a suzuki swift, I can't believe the judge actually thought the case was real.

How are you still driving with 13 points thought 12 was the limit?

Yes mate, declared absolutely everything because you never know when you're gonna need the cover and it gives them one less reason to try a squirm out of paying out. It really suprised me, I know a few people that have gone to Tesco for a quote and as soon as they mentioned remaps and stuff it either went through the roof or they didn't want to know. I'm not gonna complain or question it though, just incase. :icon_thumright:

Well people i have been looking around for a better price. Greenlight insurance will cover me for 12months with a remap for £572 which i think is great ;-)

Me too - I've just got a quote from them. Thats fully protected aswell. I know where I'm taking my insurance this year
