Revo Remap - Hesitation issues

Hi,

Recently remapped my car. I've changed the DV(at the time), Coil packs, Spark Plugs, MAF and Air filter (at the time). I still get this hesitation that so many people have experienced.

I've read several posts (hence changing all the above!) and am running out of components to change. Can anyone think of anything I have missed?

Would a TIP, N75 or Air intake pipe cause this momentary hesitation that occurs between 3k - 5k? And if so which is the most likely to cause a hesitation in power.

Apologies for bringing up this issue again but I'm out of ideas and getting bored of replacing stuff without it having any effect.

From experience, the remap itself if its the generic Revo can cause a hesitation.

Most people who do a lot of research tend to go for one of the more specialist tuners and a better generic or custom remap.

I know a lot of people with Revo who have this hesitation issue, and I have a superchips remap, similar hesitation but not as bad.

No-one I know of so far with MRC, Jabba, CC etc have had this problem.
 
Sorry Dave my car was the same with tremendous lag (if thats what you mean by hesitation?) until the diverter valve was upgraded so Creepy I cannot help..er unless its your hose collapsing?

See, the Revo maps are really agressive low down, so the turbo is having to pull in loads more air, hence extra pressure on the TIP, which is a flimsy thing as standard.

Custom Code etc´have a much smoother, more progressive map so there is a gradual increase in intake, as opposed to a massive pull, so the TIP is less prone to collapsing.

This could all be nonsense but I rekcon its a fair idea.

that TIP wont fit. You're best off with a silicon jobbie.

When you say TIP do you mean the pipe that runs to the MAF?
 
TIP = Turbo Inlet Pipe.

Runs from the turbo inlet back up to the air intake and yes, MAF. Has various take offs for DV etc.
