A few wheel questions

I am looking to upgrade my rims on the S3 at the moment and have a few questions....

I have the standard 17s at the moment and am looking at 18s...what is correct tyre profile to have on say an 8 or 8.5 inch rim?

I've come from a VR6 with stretched tyres but want a normal looking profile on the S3 as would like to have some grip back lol!!

Also what pcd are they? 5x100?

What et do I need to be going for?

I'm really after some new RS4 alloys, anyone got any for sale?

Does anyone have any pictures of their S3 that hasn't been lowered?

Really don't want to go down the route of lowering as that is half the reason I got rid of the VR6!!

Any help on any of these questions would be great, thank you!

5X100 ET30-40 will be fine on 8" rims, nearer 30 is better of course and tyres should be 225/40 R18 profile tyres.

Just eyeing up some gunmetal RS4 style wheels on ebay and trying to tell myself that I won't like them as they aren't genuine!!!
