Rear seat stuck - wont fold down!!!! (drivers side)

Has anyone experienced similar problems or has a quick fix solution??

There is movement in the handle but the release mechanism is not working.

Not a major concern but I'm well annoyed as I had to make two trips instead of one to move my old 28" tv and stand over the wknd!!!

Me too, but it was the smaller (passenger) one.

Brute force and ignorance and some poking with a screwdriver sorted mine

Me too had to use a screwdriver but now they seam to work.

Had exactly the same problem. Gave it a bit of gentle persuasion.........
