Rear parking sensors, sometimes continually beep?!?

    Hi all,

I have rear parking sensors, which work ok, but now and then as soon as I put it in reverse they continually beep even though nothing is there

    Any ideas why?!?

    Cheers

    Dave

I've come to the conclusion the standard rear parking sensors are pretty crap. Most of the time they just annoy me because they don't work properly.

Is there an easy way to disable them?

Its nice to have then, not sure how reliable they are, lol

I think they actually look cool and classy myself!

Although I do have a plan for a dual exit exhuast so im not sure how that is going to affect them as really dont want to be cutting the rear valance all about!

I will give them a clean and see how it goes!

There may be a vag com menu cant remember- otherwise just cut the wire that connects to the reverse lights, bit of a permanent 'off' tho
