forte engine flush

is it ok to put the forte engine oil flush in the 1.8t engines? as i had seen somewhere audi say not to use engine additives?

I think they mean products such as Slick 50 etc. Engine flush, if not used on a regular basis can loosen bonded deposits on higher milage cars. Just what I learned back at car college anyway. I've just had a major service including engine flush.

just a thought it might do good but i will leave it now as seen some bad done by flushing

Is engine flushing when you use Redex?

Redex is used for cleaning the injectors or carbs.

Engine flush goes in the oil and there are many brands. One person I know uses some desiel.

flushing is unlikely to be necessary in a modern engine as most modern oils have detergents anyway.
