Seems to be the way forward doesnt it, lol

From what I can gather the 007p is quiet or silent? with a standard airbox? but I am planning to get a Carbinaro one soon anyway.

Just thought the new dual one may have been an improvement, but if its just noise I doubt its worth the extra 50 bar!

All recirc valves will be quieter than BOVs, but a lot less chavvy. The noise depends on the intake system you're blowing the air into, and the amount of air you're recirculating.

If you have a Carbionio, BMC, Viper, etc, you'll get more noise. If you have the car mapped and have a higher pressure from the turbo, you'll be dumping more air and therefoe have more noise. If you change the turbo for a bigger one, you'll get even more. My 007P is very loud - too loud!

Yeah the plan is to get the car mapped mate...

So in short, these BOV's are just dumping air into the atmosphere which is being wasted?

I looked on youtube and there are quite a few videos and I have to admit I like sounds like this :-

the high pitched short noise...

Rather than a longer noise like this which sounds more chavish :-

and ultimately would like to achive the wastegate chatter sound like this :-

A lot of them seem to be going for the HKS ones, but these seem pricey and am not sure, besides a different sound, if you would gain anything?

****** good post Paul!

I think I mentioned, but I know I used to get better 1/4 mile times in my Cossie at Santa pod with the dv off, than with it on!
