Car garaged (for 7 months)

I've been out of the country for a while and my car has been sat in the garage for 7/8 months.
Just wondering if there's anything that should/recommended be done to the car before I drive it.

I shall get a brake service done on it.

Would I need to change the (engine) oil? It's not due for at least another 10k miles though. Had the haldex oil/filter changed about 100 mile ago.

if you didnt disconnect the battery then it will be flat and perhaps in need of a replacement.

hmmm... I would be wondering the effect on the tyres having had the full weight of the car sat on one spot for such a long period of time without being cycled.

I would personally drop the oil and filter for the sake of a few quid. As Paul said I would assume they may have flat spots. Worth asking a tyre place?

Yeah... I was a bit worried about getting flat spots.
