    S3 Xenon adjustments

My 2001 S3's Xenons seem very low.

On my previous B6 S4, you could actually see them leveling themselfs when you switch the ignition on. Should the S3 do this too? I know they are supposed to, but do they do more suttle adjustments.

Does any one know how to manually adjust the aim?

I've had my VAG-COM on and it shows no faults...

I've searched a few posts but non actually tell you how to adjust the aim.

    Cheers,

    Antony.

Try here Antony, thats how I fixed mine.

Alternativley, if the motor is failing after 10 mins (like mine was) you can always disconnect them after the initial leveling takes place, and they'll remain in postion (thats what I'll do if they fail again)

    Hope that helps

    Thanks Matt.

I have been adjusting the lateral adjuster not the range/level. Just been and removed the covers and aligned them.

    Cheers again,

    Antony.
