rear washer?

my rear washer has stopped working, the wiper still works but not the washer. any ideas as to what could be wrong??

the pipes come off ??? of the good old shearing problem ????

I think when the washer level goes low, the rear wiper and headlight washers "fail" first, befroe the light comes on the dash??

Pull up the cap on the rear wiper. Underneath will be the jet on the bolt. Check that the jet is clear, pointing the correct way and not loose (on mine it came loose and the jet was pointing to the inside of the cap) and test again. Should no fluid come out then you may have a split pipe or a loose connection somewhere. To find this you would need to take off the boot lid lining and have a delve in; also would be worth looking in the engine and seeing if a leak may be happening around the washer bottle. Failing that could be a pressure loss or a split pipe along the car somewhere.

As jester says almost certain it will be the actual rear washer jet under the plastic wiper trim.
