Just booked the car in for a Main Dealer Audi 36K service £380!!! i hope to hell they wash it!

Hope this is a good Idea wanted to keep the Audi stamps in the book for later on.

This apparently includes Oil, oil Filter, pollen filter, plugs and i trust a nice new fuel filter

They won't be changing the fuel filter yet!

Haldex filter is due at 40k so make sure this is included in the price before a nasty telephone call on the day!

will do, im hoping nothing comes up as just spoke to APS and after t few momwnts a very nice man has advised me a remap and Forge DV can be done for a nice figure !!!! :applaus:

Hope they do a good job washing your car. I'd expect it to shine like never before as you're paying them £90 an hour to wash it.

Agree, I tell them not to bother!

thats 2nd AVS - should also need new oil and filter for haldex

Mine had its 2nd AVS done at Stockport Audi on Monday.....the service was shocking and the price outrageous, but i've come to expect nothing less after 5 years of Audi ownership and three different dealers.

I'd expect the £380 not to include Haldex oil and filter. I had the following:

- 2nd AVS
- Haldex oil and filter
- Aircon re-gas
- Brake fluid change
- A tail light bulb
- A shoddy 'wash' which made it look dirtier than when it went in

It was £550 all in, but that was with a 'mates rates' discount as my brother works over the road from them at VW and they do all the logistics for Audi Stockport.

IMO servicing at Audi is the quality of kwik fit with a very expensive stamp.

£380 doesnt include the Haldes service thats another £160 ! though may get done by APS in brackley as they where so helpful on the phone

Oh and brake fluid is another £100 or so

Me personally, if I wanted to keep my dealer stamp, just take it to them and ask for an oil change, then do the rest elsewhere.
I would also buy a car with fully stamped service book by any reputable garage or specialist, Auid stamps isn't all tha imo, but there are those who think it matters.

Unfortunately the majority of buyers want to see an Audi stamp in the book, I know I did when I was shopping for S3's. I also wanted to see the printed reciept and job sheet from Audi indicating work undertaken. In the used market the stamp will always add to/maintain the value, regardless of whether Audi actually do the work to a lower quality or not.
