I am looking for new alloys, probably BBS CH's.

Was going 18's but lots of people have mentioned that I will loose out on handling etc.

Being a dumb *** I thought Id ask you folk - 18's or stick with 17's??

I believe they say that 18 is as big as you go with out screwing up the handling to much. Any bigger like 19 and it will effect the handling!

I hope so any way, someone who knows better will come alone soon!

18 will not affect your handling, well not that most people on the road would notice...

it will affect the ride, ie pot holes and speed bumps and so on but thats a minor issue because your car will look so much better

you're so right- the car would look awesome with 18's, but pot holes are a penny a piece in london! and to be honest with 17's i feel the ride is quite bumpy......hmmm looks or ride quality?

18"'s will actually improve your handling (in conjunction with better damping and anti roll facilities) as their is less 'give' in the sidewall.

Same as most suspension/wheel mods. It's ride quality vs handling.
