6 gear tranny ?

Can I mount 6 speed transmission from S3/TT on my A3?I have problems with my 5 speed tranny every few weeks when I push the pedal too often/350hp + setup on the car/
What is the solution for my problems?

the 6 speed box from the tt/s3 will have the linkage for the rear prop shaft so if yours isnt a quattro if def. wont fit. if you have a quattro then it might fit but i cant be sure sorry

You want a golf or seat cupra 6 speed petrol not diesel transmission if you are fwd. For 4wd, the s3 box will fit.
you can convert the 4wd box but its messy and expensive. Cupra R transmissions are good!

My car is FWD so only 6 speed from FWD will fit, right?Or maybe I am wrong?
What are tranny codes of the gearboxes that will do for me?
