    overheating a3 1.8

my a3 is constantly overheating, sitting at over 100 degrees, the fan's not coming on when hot but the water level seems ok for the radiator.i dont think it's the head gasket, the oil is normal. any ideas what it could be?

common fault for the water pump to go, time for a new water pump and timing belt.

Also, you could check the fuses on the top of the battery.

Maybe try flushing the rad and cooling system first? If your getting spikes, might be cheaper than getting a new water pump fitted.
