DashBoard (What do u clean it with?)

I went today 2get my car cleaned and the professionals told me that they can't use cockpit shine on the dash because the audi a3 dash's absorb the shine. How can i clean my dash and whats the best product. <font color="blue"> </font>

I just use a chamois to clean it with as it doesn't leave any fluff etc and the dash only gets dusty really.

I use... wait for it... Meguiars tire gel! Works a treat, and it last for ages... Also smells lovely! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Does anyone know if the spray cleaner from Audi is still available because I can't get it anywhere these days! Its the tall spray nozzle spray with the rubber strip around the neck - worked like magic and didn't leave a nasty shine on the dash like armour-all does!

Rich - does the Meguiars cleaner leave a shine on the surface??

Halfords own 'matt' product is very good.
I do not like the look of a shiney dash in any car.
