    R32 ARBs

Everyone seems to think these are a worthwhile upgrade i have searched on the forums and on google and cannot seem to find any anywhere only uprated versions.

All I am after is the standard golf R32 versions.

Any ideas where i might find some ?

    Thanks
    James

You could try the neuspeed kit. There supposed to be better and think they are 21/19 split front and back. could be cheaper to.

could always try GSF or Euro car parts for the R32 ones. pretty sure they'd have them.

I just got billies h and Rs and 23 mil r32 front arb and 23 mil neuspeed rear.

Car seems to ride very well, turn in vastly improved but initial impressions are its quite neutral, but will still tend to understeer I think. Just not as pointy as I thought it would be going up so much on the rear arb. Not at all fun to drive yet, my mk4 has a whopping great 28 mil rear ARB in addition to the torque tube fitted one and it handles like a fwd car should! Lift of oversteer as required....the s3 jst does not do it ...?
Although only just done a few miles in it, and it is a huge leap forward...its still not right IMO. I am regretting wimping out of the rear 25 mil race neuspeed bar now! Yes this is a very predicatable set up and will make for fast B road progress I am sure, but I think for trackday use and more fun on the roads, it needs more rear bar.
Unlike my neuspeed golf bar, I dont think this S3 bar is adjustable either...? So I cannot stiffen it that way. I think this is because it repalces the stock bar, wheras the golf ones go on in addition to what is there, (which is not a full arb as such).
Can only assume the r32 ones will be an improvement but still not far enough, I think the R32 has a 21 19 mil rear bar does it, or is it 21 mil?

isn't the point of fitting R32 ARB's to fit the rear one only???

as for the neuspeed items, you need to order the TT parts. The S3 ones are argueably the wrong thickness.

you can fit just the rear but it unbalances the car at high speeds I know from experience.

Car feels great throwing it round at speeds below 60 and you can get the rear end out easier but on the motor way just changing lanes feels unbalanced with just the Rear fitted.

I found the price of the R32 ones form VW to be more expensive than the Neuspeeds... (when they added in the bushes, clips, etc.)

The R32 is 23mm front, 19 rear (AFAIK)... I went for 22mm front, 19 rear (the general consensus on here being that 23mm front was overkill and needed on the R32 due to it's heavy engine..)

you dont need anything extra. you only need the ARBs and some new bushes (although you actually can use the old ones) the clips are the same, so dont need those either. i just had mine fitted 2 days ago.
