On my way home from work this evening the ESP light came on of its own accord. Jabbed the button a coupla times and nothing happened. Pulled over, switched off engine, waited a few mins, switched it on again and the light had gone off, wahey! A mile down the road it came on again, pulled over, etc. Crawled home scared and came straight onto here, read a few articles and checked my brake lights. NO BRAKELIGHTS!!! (Did wonder why a coupla people had flashed me on the way home, didn't think I was driving like an a55). Tried changing fuses and no joy there.
I go on holiday in 3 days and need the car to get there, I really don't wanna let my family down so need to get it sorted and quick.

(Car is still in warranty [for what its worth] but don't mind paying cash to get it sorted "now")
Local dealership have said 2 weeks before they can even look at it. :gun2:

Suggestions?

Not certain but it could just be the switch for the brake lights, do you have vag com?

If thats all it is you can change it in ten mins

Sadly no vag com, no one I know has access to one either. :3sadwalk:

Don't suppose we have anyone in the pompey area? :sly:

All sorted, brake light switch had gone.
65 nuggets and done. :)
