Haldex replacement

Got my s3 scanned and have been told that one of the error codes points to a duff haldex controller. How expensive are these to replace? Is it a diy job?

If it's the controller that's fecked, I'd recommend a Performance Haldex Controller, something around £499+vat or goto a scrapyard and find a used one... Audi will rape you with a silly price for a new one!

Yup, it's a lot of money, and that's why I havn't done it myself yet, but since yours need replacing, I see it as an oportunity to modify, but that's me...

in the next month there is some poor guy i know that needs to replace his s3 rear diff as it is shagged, the good news however is that the haldex ecu on it is perfect, he might be willing to sell it if your interested?
