Just got a quote from these guys
http://www.justvwaudi.co.uk

for cambelt/tensioner and waterpump, the total (inc VAT) is £303.50.

Sounds good to me, they are an audi specialist, Lister Audi Coventry wanted £820!!

views?

thats a DECENT price, the lowest i've got quoted is £491.40

I'm going to Audi for parts and have got an independant price to do the work and he's quoted £200 labour.

Got mine done for £160, Belt, tensioners etc and water pump and fitted by a VW/Audi specialist (in his own time!) :icon_thumright:
Used all genuine parts and even stamped the book up for me

don't get the water pump from Audi, get the upgraded one that uses a metal impeller, not the crappy Audi plastic jobby that just disintegrates.

You need togo to GSF parts to purchase this item.

normally so i have seen posted on audi/specialist sites is that when they do the cambelt, they also do the water pump and haldex thing. not sure what they do to the haldex but its about £500 roughly. mines a 2000 s3 with 74,000 and still hasn't had the cambelt change.
is that bad?
