Quickie - sump plug ?

Sorry about this,

servicing the car tom but I can't see the sump plug from looking under the car. Can anyone tell me whether it is a hex key, bolt head etc. and also what size ?

Don't want to put the car up and then find out I don't have the right one.

Also, whether or not it is a straight fit back in with the old plug or if there is a copper washer etc. on the back.

its at the back of the sump.. think its a 19mm or a 21mm

no copper washer, but a new sump plug with inbuilt washer only costs 99p so i would just replace it anyhow

Replace it....but still, good luck with not threading the hole. The OEM sumps are utther Sh*te. I use a sucker to suck the oil out instead.... Easier, quicker and less messy!

Does 30Nm sound right for the torque rating on the sump plug ?
