Xenon Problem

The other day when I started the car up the warning light flashed up saying the dipped headlight/rear light had failed. However, all appeared to be normal when I restarted the car so thought nothing of it.

Now though the passenger side dipped light is a fair bit dimmer than the drivers, but its still illuminated. Any ideas what has caused this? I would have thought if the bulb had failed it just wouldn't work at all.

I had this a while ago and it was just the wiring had came a little loose, i'd check that first

Thanks, only noticed it tonight so I'll check it out in the light tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Seems to happen to mine approx. once every 2 years, in the cold... basically, on of the xenon bulb fails to light up, and you get the warning, but switch them off and back on, and it usually just flicks back on, so nothing to worry about imo.
