Just a quickie - another start up question

On start up, before and after i had the cam chain replaced. literally the 1st second or too of the engine turning over there is a rattling noise, some days doesn't happen and it can vary between been a second to a few seconds of an unusual sound which almost sounds like BUBBLING...

Any ideas?

Just wondering if it was the valves that were making the noise as the oil got to them?

it is probably just the hydraulic lifters rattleing untill they pump up with oil its quite common

well i took it to audi and they did a diagnosis and cleared any faults codes there were, air pressure tested it and cleaned the throttle body, plus washed and vacced as usual..

ALL FOR THE SUM OF..... NOTHING!

very chuffed, they had the car in, did their stuff and delivered it back to me free of charge!!

Surely something is going wrong? haha
