12V Ignition dropout

Hi Guys,

Having a few issues with the 12v ignition, (picked up from the back of the stereo harness.)

Basicly nothing connected the multimeter picks up 0v ingnition off and 11.9v ignition on. as soon as i connect my amp remote up or screen and switch the ignition on it only kicks out 4-5v thus not turning anything on.

Does anyone have any ideas?

for temporary measure i have hooked it up to perm like with an inline switch.

Kudos to Andymac for the tips (use a relay to trigger)
