Audi S3 Work price check price

Car is in a Audi for a check over, and just got the call for the following

REAR ARBS
REAR BUSHES
REAR SPINGS

Both sides

All in for £722.00

What do we reckon then?

Seems expensive just for the rear! We charge less then that for front and rear supplied and fitted!

Yeah seems VERY expensive.

Parts quoted are under £250 inc VAT, and the labour surely can't be £500 worth!

EDIT - DPM has quoted prices for upgraded, much better than standard versions of the things you need replacing, both front AND rear and he's still cheaper than Audi. Just goes to show how bad the price is!

Have used Fontain for some previous work but admittedly prefer to stay with the guy at Audi due to his experience with my car. Will be asking for a loyalty discount which will hopefully save a few quid.

I find Fontain very expensive too.

None of that stuff is hard, just time consuming, I'd do it all myself personally....

Booked in week after next down at Audi Ridgeway for the work to be done. Looked at other dealers and local specialists and with fuel costs, time and effort; they came out cheapest!

Still it gives me peace of mind that they peform the 4 wheel plus the guy doing the work, called Guy funnliy enough, was the one who rebuilt my engine and did most of the work in its lifetime.

Still cheaper than buying a new car....

Thats absolute crazy money - none of this stuff is difficult any trained monkey could do it, honestly mate unless you have money to burn then cancel it and get it booked in somewhere else that deals with audis

even if you get a labour rate of £70/hour you'll be making a good saving.

Dunno why you're bothered about the guy that knows your car - its an S3 they're all the same

Have to work out the best way to get there and when but at that sort of saving it can't be missed I guess.
