Engine noise

What is the noise i can here when my engine is turned off (S3)
Sounds like a pump or something.
Similar sound on a V6 4 Motion i used to own.

is a small electric motor right behind the radiator that keeps pumping the coolant. i think its so the turbo has cooling after the engine is shut down.

Though it was something like that although my V6 Golf that made a similar noise didn't have a turbo.

I hear that all the time. Does that mean you don't have to let the turbo cool down?

yeah S4 has the same thing its pumping coolant through your turbo and engine still the thermostat closes up again iwas told or until a certain tempreture. you can wire the coolant pump up to a turbo timer and can work that way too. should only work when it really really really hot!!
