Best engine noise

Does anything really make much of a difference to the engine tone on a s3? I love the k20a but I doubt its possible to get close to that. Does milltec / induction make things better or just louder?

Both make it sound a bit deeper!

i've got a milltek and it sounds just right, not much louder, but just right IMO

I've also got a remap/TIP/k&n panel

I have a TIP and Milltek to fit to my car.. currently living in the boot.. however just wondering if the panel filter makes the induction noise noticably different?

K20a is a N/A engine that revs silly high with Vtec also so it's a different kettle of fish to a 1.8 Turbo...Not sure i'd want that kind of noise from an S3 anyway tbh.

sorry for a minute there I thought you meant "whats the best engine noise in any car....." had this on my drive for the weekend, hence my post it sounds like a NASCAR......
