Downpipe???

hey everyone, are there any issues with fitting a (left hand drive) gti, beetle, jetta downpipe on an a A3T (right hand drive)?? Should be the same fittment, but apr australia sells ones made specifically to fit RHD vehicles (http://www.goapr.com.au/products/18trhd_downpipe.html)
Has anyone fitted the us made dp with no problems, for exapmle

I think there are issues with the downpipe hitting the steering rack if you try to fit LHD stuff on a RHD car.
Certainly it used to be the case...

Best people to ask are AwesomeGTi as they are the UK distributor for APR stuff.
They are currently fitting the first UK Stage 3 BT kit to a customers Golf so are probably right in the middle of the downpipe fitment woes..

Argh my head hurts :|
