a3 quattro gearbox removal??

got problems with my clutch an flywheel so gunna have the box out in a week of so an have a look on the inside. got my step dad helping me he's a brilliant machanic but just fort ide ask on here to see if anyone has taken the box out of one before (1999 a3 quattro 6 speed) or an s3 should imagine they are the same but anyways would like some input on the transfer box like how it comes out etc and how u dissconnect it from prop shaft and in general any other points that may help??

Transfer box bolts to the prop shaft with three bolts, we left the transfer box connected to the gearbox and dropped the two together.
