How bad is this S3 Suspension.

Was driving home from work there and it just occured to me, this standard suspension is just RUBBISH ! I mean there really is quite a lot of body roll.

or is it just me ?

    Think it's time I got some bilstein's and H&R's

Yes, indeed it is rubbish.. read Glens (Ess-Three), info in the sticky threads. Very informative and tells you all you need to know to get it a whole lot better... Find a good independant dealer and an alignment bay..

    Good luck...
Coming back to Audi with an A3 Tdi Sportback Quattro... but the 220bhp T5 was epic....

the standard suspension is truely shocking. I'll never know how they managed to make it both wallowy and harsh at the same time. Incredible!

I had the R32 Arb's fitted today along with the Haldex and it's a very very different drive now

I need it to rain so I can see what it's really like!

Glen is the man to ask. But i am sure the R32 ARB's are a equally increase in resistance, so your car will still understeer but you be going faster where as the Neuspeed kit will reduce understeer.

I so get this, the suspension feels hard over breaks in the road and pot holes but throw the car about and the weight transfer is truely shocking ! lol !
