Since using this forum ive got the modifying bug again! I spent £20k on an escort RS2000 a few years ago and vowed i wouldnt do it again but what can you do!

This week I have bought;
- A supersprint stainless exhaust
- Forge 007 DV
- Pipercross panel filter
- Cupra R splitter

a couple of weeks ago i got some new 18" alloys and new tyres S8 style i think? (that reminds me i have some 18" genuine RS4's for sale if anyone wants some) and just before christmas i got some bembo discs and red stuff pads :)

Plus the old girls getting a full service + MOT on tuesday. All this makes me actually wanna clean it again! :p

After the service im having all the bits fitted and my REVO upgraded to stage 2 with a 4 bar pressure regulator. Is anyone else running stage 2? Does it make much difference from stage 1?

Is there any other mild mods I can do that are reccomended? Ive heard people talking about a haldex ecu but not sure what it does exactlly? Plus people re saying it increases fuel consumption and makes your car slower in a straight line? I dont really wanna change the suspension as i like the ride comfort.

R32 ARB's are a reasonable upgrade, apparantly not as great as some aftermarket ones, but they are cheaper.
Had mine done yesterday (the original needed to be replaced anyway) so its actually made me pleased I did it. The ride hasn't been compromised, just feels crisper/sharper/less understeer, through the corners.

How much were they mate? And how much to be fitted?

Yesterday I installed he Eibach ARB kit, and although it was a real pain to fit, it is pound for pound absolutely the best handling upgrade I have ever done.

I paid £242 inc VAT from Venom and its amazing, its like driving a different car now!

sounds good! did u fit it yourself? does it reduce understeer then?

Had a load of work done, so cant tell you specific prices. APS did it for me.

40k AVS service, Haldex fluid and filter, Cambelt replacment, fitted my cruise control, and MOT.
Also replaced the 3 coil packs too (fitted 1 myslelf prior to going there)

With lower front suspension arms, R32 ARB's, total bill was just over £1500

Fantastic service though, very happy. (Audi wanted £1200 just for the service, haldex and cambelt)

I fitted the ARB's myself, I was changing a front strut at the time and only have axle stands and it was first time so it took me 6 hours total.

Well worth doing though, and has actually made my coilovers produce a nice ride too!

Mmm sounds like a good mod then! Will keep it in mind.

Im curious if anyone is running stage 2 revo?
