Help identifying a part please.

I'm lucky that the interior of my 01 1.8t is in immaculate nick *apart* from the drivers side door handle where the top layer of plastic/paint is coming off so I want to get a new one. It's the plastic part and looks to be fairly self contained.

I've got a parts catalogue and I think I need:
8L3 867 172 A
handle recess-upper part
for vehicles with rear view
mirror electrically operated
and heated

But the rear view mirror bit is confusing me, anybody able to confirm..?
Would I need anything else at the same time?

Just means for cars with electric and heated mirrors, otherwise it would'nt have a hole for the switch.

its refering to your door mirrors that could be electric adjustment and heating , depending on model of the car , not the rear view mirror on the windscreen .
the plastic trim is attached by clips from inside the door trim panel and are quite easy to replace once the trim panel is removed

Doh! Just twigged that the "wing" mirrors are rear view as well!!
I was thinking rear view as the one on the windscreen.
