Hi,

I've had my new A3 for a couple of weeks now but still havent received the owners manual hence the following question (only for experts /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif):
As you know the Air Con has 3 buttons: the ECON, another one with a round arrow and the last one with an arrow and an 'A' inside it.
What r the differences between them? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush2.gif
Thanks guys...

The ECON is the equivalent of turning off the air con unit, just normal heater - so saves the power drain of the air con.
The round arrow is most likely the air recirculation, to close off external air for when your behind that smokey old bus etc.
The other - not quite sure???

Hope that helps a bit though!!

The third one will be the automatic recirc button, the aircon will automatically switch to recirculation when driving in polluted air like tunnels,...
Works quite well on my A4 but still does not react on cowshit-smell... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Again, you've been very helpful.
So as a conclusion:
ECON - Normal heater
Round arrow - Air Recirculation
Round arrow with an A - Automatic Air Recirc.
Ok... Thanks guys...
