Hi all,
Newbie here, be gentle with me.

I'm picking up my A3 on Saturday, but want to put some decent alloys on it as the ones supplied with it are ****** awful 'Hi-John' things.

I've decided on 18's and quite like the replica Nuvolari alloys. I've also heard a few things on here about dubious quality alloys, soft metal, cracks etc. Being more into bikes than I am cars, I know absolutely nothing about alloy wheels so I doubt if I could tell a bad replica from a good one. So if I bought a set, would they be durable or totally shagged after a year. Does anyone have any pearls of wisdom on the replicas, or would I be better off buying a set of mid-priced aftermarket alloys (think BK Racing, TSW, Team Dynamics).

Cheers,
Andy

Welcome to the site.. I think "novulari" are pretty awfull to be honest.
Try doing a search as this subject has been covered a lot recently

i am negotiating whether or not to buy some 18" RS6 rims at the moment.

so i may have some 16" T Sport alloys up for grabs if your interested :D all tyres are 5mm tread+
