headlight bulbs - help required!

it seems stupid to ask, but i've got a 1999 A3 1.6SE, and i've swapped the sidelight bulbs, but i'm not sure what i need 'bulb-wise' for the headlights...?

i only ask coz i know some have in-built fogs, or something?!?

i think this is the same as mine ! the main beams act as fogs when they are on low, and when on high they are your high beams, i just changed my bulbs H7 i think and also the side light bulbs, the fog/main bulbs are H4, dont put them back in the wrong was as i did or when you put your fogs on they point up as if its on main beam , and on main beam you get your fogs /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

right... i'll give those a go! knowing me i'll have the left on main beam while the right one's on fog mode!
