bulbs blowing

Hi, does anyone else have a problem with dipped beam bulbs blowing? the H7 bulbs.
got my 8l tdi 130 last May, and have had three bulbs blown since. I don't think I've blown this many bulbs in all the cars I've owned

What sort of bulbs are you using??? Anything weird and wonderful??? Ive had 2 blow within a week of each other recently in my A4 but can imagine why they lasted only 4 months.

My experience of this was using hi-power bulbs and basically due to the projector lens, they were blowing due to being too hot. I switched to a better quality xenon H7 (not HID), and teh problem is solved.

yes - i garee.

i was running 80w super blues type in my dipped beams (projector) and i had 3 blow in 2 weeks.

changed to osram silver stars now much better.
