Diagnostic Port On a S3

I`m going to buy an S3 on sat and want to plug my Vag-com into it before i buy.. Where abouts is the port??

Depends what year it is mate,

Later cars its on the drivers side quite low down directly below headlamp switch.

Earlier cars have it just below the front ash tray in the centre console. Directly below head unit.

Pre-facelift dash will be behind a plastic cover under the ashtray, facelift dash will be underneath the drivers side dash below the light switch, you have to go pretty low to see the plug.

Plug the VAG-COM in after you've driven the car too.

Good point, just incase they have cleared all the fault codes before you drive it.

mines a 2000 on a w plate so pre-facelift and mine is on the drivers side under the light switch

The one I`m going to see is a 51 plate..

Will defo be low down on the right directly below the headlamp switch mate.

Not to hard to find as its pink and doesn't have a cover over it
