    Anyone with ETKA?

Just a quickie. Can anyone who has ETKA give me a rough price on the grey exterior trims that run along the bottom of the door and the rear quarter panel? the one on my rear quarter has some of the grey scraped off. Thanks.

Looking at the site, it appears that the rubbing trims are painted by the dealer - which means that paint/touch up should be available. I've got some paint missing on mine which needs touching up so I'll make some enquiries on Monday to see how much the paint costs.

OK, just been to Camberley Audi. They confirmed that they don't list the paint for the side strips as a dealer supplied part. They said that it is a specialist paint which can only be applied in a bodyshop. They suggested I went round to the nearest body shop and asked them for help - or tried Halfrauds. As I wasn't in the Audi at the time I couldn't go to the bodyshop, so we'll have to wait and see.

Thanks for that mate, seems strange though. Where would the bodyshop obtain the paint if they cant get it from audi?? Wonder what the paint code is??

the paint code is usually part of the list of codes on your cars "code list" hehe.

this is usually found on the inside of your service manual and in the boot (remove the right hand side panel, and pull the carpet out at the top left corner, there is normally a sticker on the back of there).

Yeah, that is exactly what I thought. Going to try the bodyshop to see what they say - or the parts department from a different audi centre.
