As title. Am getting a set of 8.5/18 ultraleggra wheels. Would like some advice on offset and if 235 will fit. I really want to run formula r but the sizes are very limited.

Thanks

235's will fit but are not really recommended matey, 225 is what you should be using.

Is this because they will catch or do you get tramlining problems?

Its because they're the wrong tyre size for the wheel mate, slightly too wide for the rim, although there is a tolerance and this is why they will fit. if your car is lowered there is a slight chance they will catch too

I know for a fact they will rub on your innerwings on full lock. not recommended. Also speedo will be wrong too!

rubbing will depend on the offset of the wheels!

235's should be fine i'd have thought on an 8.5j rim, but I reckon you'll need 30 ofset. 35 may catch the inside arch on full lock.

dont know your offset, but my bbs wheels has et 30, and they dont rub my innerwings, but i wouldnt recommend the size, as it follows the tracks in the road too much. 225 is a better width, and that is what ill get this spring.
