Service intervals on longlife (01 1.8T)

My service book is all stamped up with longlife services, what would you expect the DIS service indicator to say immediately after having one done?
Did a search but couldn't find this particular info.

Straight after my longlife service at a main dealer last year the DIS said 8000miles till next service which I thought was odd but it hasnt gone down since then and has just stayed the same. It is a 01 1.8 t as well.

Yeah, mine says 9700 which uncannily brings it to 60000.
Seemed a bit suss to me.

mine said 7300. I queried this and they said that it changes as you drive. It sure does, the next week it went down to 7000.

Saying that though, if i go for a month with a lot of miles, it actually goes up too.

How odd, immediately after a service my DIS is blank where the mileage/time would normally be, apparently this is because the ECU works out how long til the next service according to your driving style. After about 250 miles mine then appeared stating 19500 miles or 722 days to next service.
