If your going to run more boost then for the sake of £60 it's worth changing ;)

I've had my car a month and that's the first thing I changed.

I have a new maf waiting to be fitted in the morning also ;)

i've been running one for a week. Not sure if i got a performance gain as replaced as faulty N249 valve at the same time so the car is quicker. Doubt this had anything to do with the DV. The most noticable difference is the note. On my chipped car it whistles on and off the throttle at low speed, rising and lowering in tone, the std unit was silent. On full throttle its again more of a whistle than a sucking noise the std part makes. On the whole on a chipped car is slightly quieter on the run and a nicer note. But a little irritating at low speeds to me.

I have had one fitted for about a month now. No complaints, but only had the OEM DV before so can't really compare. I'm sure they are all much of a muchness

N249 - Diverter Valve Control Solenoid
The N249 is a valve that controls the vacuum-boost signal to the DV that tells it when to open ;)

I changed the DV & MAF and am seeing better fuel economy :)
