Thinking of buying an S3 was wanting a little advice.Just really what to look for when buying one,common problems they have,what mileage the cam belt is changed,visual difference beetween 210 bhp and 225 bhp and what reg ill get for the money.Any other advice would be much appreciated.

The FAQ is pretty good for problems and things to look out for to be honest. How much are you looking to spend? what kinda mileage you looking for.
If the cambelt hasnt been changed in the last say 3 to 4 years i would change it (or 60k).
I dont know the differences between a 210 and 225, there wont be any visually. I believe most facelifts are the 225, very early ones maybe not, also doubt you could tell the difference driving the car.

Looking to spend between 9 -10.5 no more looking for one with as low mileage as poss for the money with FASH.Would be a bonus if it had nice 18s on also.
