aftermarket HID conversion - anyone done this?

been looking at converting to HID and have seen 2 kits on the market - one at around £150 and another at around £220.

what are other people's experience with such kits? recommendations? pitfalls? ease of fitting etc etc?

They are all pretty straightforward to fit and to be honest, having seen a couple of different kits i think they're all pretty much the same, i'd be tempted by a hong kong effort at about £80

My mate bought a hong kong kit uk seller though with 2 years warranty.

Quality is second to none 8000k maybe a bit blue but thats what he wanted.

I think RichA3Turbos selling these on his website for a good price and he's in the uk.
They must be ok because Rich uses them in his car.:thumbsup:

I recently bought and installed the kit from Rich and its very good value and a decent product. The only downside was the delivery took approx 2 weeks, but the price was good and so was the product.
