    Give 32psi (F) and 36psi (R) since the 1.6 is lighter than an S3.

What's the standard pressures listed as?

29 front and rear on the 1.8t sport unlaiden.

I have tried slightly higher presures with my 225/45 17's but found that 29psi gives the best performace.

I think you'll find 29 on 18's will be too low, probably wear the edges and handle 'interestingly'

I use 36 all round on my 1.6 with 18's but give the 32 or maybe even 34 at the front a try as above, might work better

low profile tire pressures are a funny one TBH

we run 34psi on the front and 36psi on the back of my g/fs '92 Corrado running 7x16's on 195/45 16's

we find this a happy medium..

I've wanted to know this too, however i own a 03 A4 with 235/45/17" the book says 29psi but i feel its under inflatted. As i found on my old mk4 GTi 32psi was the best, but then again i had 215/45/16".

So i guess my overall question would be. For lower profile tires should you use a highier or psi than a highier profile tire?
