few small probs with an s3 i went to look at

There was a raspy kind of baffle noise from around 1k to 1.5k from idle up the rev range. had been taken to audi and they couldnt find it, is coming from around the timing belt area.

Also, the flasher unit seemed to be on its way out, this a common problem or expensive to fix.

he did say these would be fixed if i went for the car, which is good.

on with the hunt i think!

The noise could just be a heat shield - flasher unit shouldnt be too expensive but yeah, probably as well just to keep looking
