after my car has been parked overnight at around freezing temperatures or a bit above, when i back up to get out of my parking space with full lock (either way) the car seems to hop about and generally have difficulty moving back. not impossible, but sort of like one of the rear brakes are sticking. btw i don't pull the handbrake when its cold. after i drive just a little bit, this stops.
giong away so quickly makes me think its the brakes, but someone on here said before that backing up in a circle tests the haldex somehow, if you cant do it properly the haldex is cooked.
also the haldex seems to work normally, no wheel spin, acts properly on snow/ice etc.
so is it the haldex or the brakes? if the brakes whats the problem? if şts the haldex i guess its junked...
thanks all and happy new year.
