wiring haedlamp washer pump motor

foiited a s3 font bumper to my a 3 added a larger washer bottle with the twin pumps any one wired one up before i under stand that the headlamp one only works when the lights are on any infor great appcitaed before i cut up my loom!!!!

Easyiest way to do it would be to wire it with the normal windscreen washer pump so it does the headlamps as it does the windscreen. It can be done easily enought with the headlights on too. Just wire in a relay.

will that work as the wire fro the headlamp washer pump is alot heaveir so more amps dont want to keep blowing fuses?

if you use a relay from the headlamp power then you will be fine
