Recently the ESP indicator light has switch on, i am used to it flickering on when i am pushing the car, but this was under normal braking. The light also stayed on after the braking was complete.

Was easily rectified by restarting the car.

Should i be worried or was it a minor glitch?

Do you know anybody with Vag Com?

My car did exactly this, but gradually the light coming on became more and more frequent. Vag Com diagnosed a faulty lateral yaw sensor, which lives just above your right knee behind the dash.

The part was about £95 and fitting took 15 minutes. Since I replaced it, which was about 6 months ago, it hasn't come back on.

Also happened on mine. There are 2 sensors although on later cars this was replaced with a combi sensor.

It's usually the cheaper and smaller of the 2 in the pic below which VAG-COM will display as a fault with controller (G200).
