Arvo, need a service on the S3.

Currently done 130k miles, new engine fitted at 93k so on a 2nd AVS service.

Also need new front pads, haldex etc. Anyone recommend somewhere in the Oxon/Berks area or has anyone got any pricing?

Been to Newbury Audi:

£484.77 for service
£150.00 for Haldex service
£216.54 for front brakes inc fitting
£99.00 for re gas
Total: £950.31

Jesus is the operative word!

AMD may be cheaper for the service and there based near oxford (40mins up the A34 from newbury)

Yeah, looking at Specialists as well.

Got back from AMD

Got back from Basingstoke Audi

Haven't got the tools, jack, time or patience admittedly. Though Fontain said if I take the pads to them they can fit em. But what pads?

Also on the brake discs they can do Brembo ones anyone got these on?

I think the OEM Discs are Brembo anyway, if i remember correctly all you need is a torx screwdriver and your done in 5 mins for the pads - honestly dont understand how you can be gettin quoted £248 for pads to be changed, its not even all 4 wheels

Try APS in Brackley if that is not too far from you. Set up by Ed and co ex of AMD. Excellent (and I mean excellent) service and cheap as chips. Website is http://www.autops.co.uk/

B
