Anyone else had any problems with tyre pressure on a specific tyre. I have a A3 1998 1.8t and the front left tyre always seem to go down more quickly than all of the others. I have recently had the tyres changed, im beginning to think it might be the alloy - any ideas or suggestions?

Just to give you an idea all the tyres were on 30 and the front left on 25.

ive noticed the same thing on my 2000 quattro, front left tyre always goes down quicker, doesnt bother me too much as i top up every week, just one of those things

Sounds like ur rim is dented, maybe only slightly - if it becomes a problem either replace it or get some1 to glue the tyre to the rim for you to make a better seal

I already had the tyre re-sealed... looks like it is the rim, but it doesnt look dented!!

Thanks

Dodgy valve?

I had that problem too where one of my tyres kept going down more than others and it turned out to be the rim. I was told that it escaped from under the paint within the inside flat part of the alloy and made its way to the outside face of the alloy.
