Is there an easy way to test and see if the motor for the self adjusting headlights is working correctly, the headlights on my S3 are pi$$ poor !!!

On a similar note. What is this all about? My Allroad moves the lights up and down when I put them on. I am sure this is a stupid question, but I have not had a car that has done this b4.

Can I put those new type bulbs in it the Xenon? is there a FAQ about this topic anywhere?

craig.. just take it to a dealer and they will 9/10 check it for free.

biggles. the headlights move slightly when there put on. mine do it.. just up and down a fraction. i guess there just self testing, resetting etc.

all xenons will have self adjusting motors on them. as long as there going back to the right place then theres nothing to worry about.

Biggles, what do you mean by fit the new type of bulbs in there?? You mean upgrade the actual xenon bulb??
